If we talk about normal android phones it is just a non-upgradable to the next version of Android version but now it became possible by Android One OS platform.As you know your previous time smartphone are there.You could not upgrade that smartphone to updated Android version; e.g.:Gingerbread, Honeycomb etc based phone to nougat, Oreo, that's not possible.

Now Google also tries to provide high-end apps to be accessible in the low-end smartphone, through Android GO program. Android is an Operating system about which I have written an article already, today I am going to share the type of Android platform provided by Android.

Stock Android

Android is Google product, Android initially start specific smartphones series in which Android provide pure Android experience to its user, you may know that initial stock andrid phone Nexus and Now the time Google starts its own brand smartphones with PIXEL series, which's latest Stock Android 2017 smartphones are Pixel 2 and Pixel 2XL. Stock android phones are always up-to-date phones because all the android updates reaches to stock android phone first later on android one and than on other company smartphones 

Stock Android Phone provides the user a pure android experience, in terms of speed, smoothness and everything. You should go for the Stock Android-based phone if you are frustrated with Custom UI Bloatware. Bloatware: Pre-Installed Apps that are normally smartphone brand apps.

Android ONE

It was a google project started in 2014, aimed towards pure -android experience with the lower-end smartphone user of the Android market. The project launched by Google in most developing countries like India Bhutan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Pakistan etc.

Here Google Android collaborate with Micromax, Spice and Karbon phone companies initially, to provide user pure android experience in the low budget phone, but did not succeed too much.

Recently Android One Gen-4th phone launched [Xiaomi Mi-A1] with a budget of approx. Rs.15,000 in India(Budget: Good According To Specifications).

Unlike previous Android One smartphones that were limited only to their own respective countries, this Xiaomi Mi-A1 is the first Android One smartphone that will be widely available in many countries (at least 36 others). In Android One based OS smartphones are Pure android phones, Hardware Configuration standards are decided by the Google to make that phones future ready, for updating them with next Android version easily.

New - ANDROID GO

It is not a new Operating System (OS) by Android like Android One, It is just a platform designed for providing an updated android version apps to the low-end smartphone in the form of lite versions of applications. By an Android GO initiative; Google tries to help the smartphone manufacturer to provide the latest Android OREO like versions in low-end range smartphones. In simple way to understand, Google searching ways to run Oreo version apps on the low-end price range smartphone, which may have less than 1 GB RAM and having low system configurations. So Google started; ANDROID GO, which will provide Oreo Version to the low-end smartphone user, with a lite version of Oreo applications like Angry Birds Go, YouTube Go etc. For analyzing data usage it will also provide; data usage management application in Quick Setting option. "Now Low Budget Will Never Going To Be Meant By A Laggy Phone" Android GO automatically get the compatible apps updates in the smartphone by providing less data usage apps and offline apps, having application size always less than 10MB. Google Android Go PlayStore Will provide lite Apps for that low memory smartphones from RAM and ROM Prospective. Now the times, It is not available in the market any device with Android GO, may Android come in 2018 with its first Android GO-based smartphone.

Custom UI 

You can say that it is a type of android launcher theme that relates to the Smartphone Brand. Here UI is the user interface is an element through which a user can interact with the smartphone functions. The smartphone company for enhancing user experience provide CUSTOM UI interface, in which users can customise the functionality of phone in his own way. In this, Smartphone companies used there own personal theme, icons, slideshows, animations etc with good looks like comparing a boring screen. With each android version, CUSTOM UI smartphone company also need to update their UI(User Interface) theme. That is the reason why custom UI phone get the late update of Android version because they need to update their own UI also.
