Hi Visitor,
Memory Card: Memory chips primarily of silicon, which is obtained from sand. Then silicon is used to made circuits. The circuit is coated and texture is implemented on this card circuit by exposing the silicon to temperatures of 900 degrees Celsius for more than one hour.The connecting pins (made up of gold or tin) are added during a process called bonding in manufacturing.
For Your Smartphone Simply SD(Secure Digital)Card is the chip/card used for storing a data.
How To Choose Memory Card classes and types for Yourself?
Key Things You must keep In Your Mind According to your Preference :
Reading Speed: Extracting data for use. (For e.g.: watching stored video from your SD Card)Writing Speed: Storing live data (For e.g.: Capturing Video of live moment into SD Card)
CLASSES OF MEMORY CARDS:
- Required data transfer speed;
- App Performance when app moved into SD card(e.g. capturing video, playing games etc)
What Is Reading And Writing Speed?
[Note: This Article Will Be Discussed Only About Smartphone SD Cards Catagories.]
MEMORY CARD CLASSES AND TYPES

VSC Card: Video Speed Class card. They are introduced to increase speed/capability of video rendering/capturing smoothly.Provide capturing/writing speed up to 90MB/s.
VSC Card: Video Speed Class card. They are introduced to increase speed/capability of video rendering/capturing smoothly.Provide capturing/writing speed up to 90MB/s.
AFC Card: Application performance Class (sign. A1, A2) card. This best class if You want to run Application from memory card by moving them into SD Card from phone's primary memory.
UFS Card : (Universal Flash Storage) provide the fastest speed of writing 170Mb/s data into memory. Its Connector Pins are different from regular Micro SD card Connector Pins.
