How GPU Works In Smartphone - BEGINNER

Hi Visitor,

Q. Can you imagine what is the hardware used for processing graphics as dialing a contact, watch videos, icon representation, windows sliding animation etc...?

Ans:  Smartphone GPU is a part of the SoC(Systems On a Chip) of your Smartphone CPU Chipset.
GPU is a Graphics Processing Unit used in your computer, smartphones, smart watches etc for processing the graphics on the screen. Everything you can see on screen is controlled by the GPU of that devices.

How GPU Works In Smartphone

All the content shown on your smartphone screen is processed by the GPU of the smartphone, CPU just control the programming process at the backend. All that graphical things are controlled by the GPU, Without GPU Your smartphone never looks smart, May it has lots of feature in it.

Good GPU is Needed if you want to do video editing, image processing, gaming for smooth graphics rendering.

There are mainly two types of GPUs are there, Given below:
  • Internal Or Inbuilt;
  • External of Dedicated.

1.Inbuilt GPU, is the processor provided by the CPU company inbuilt, to processes regular graphics on system like them, icon images, little bit games(small quality) etc.(e.g. Smartphone GPU)
2.Dedicated GPU's, are the processor installed as per the requirement of PC.Its propose is only to process the graphical activity of the devices by taking that burden from CPU for processing.

What Is GPUs?
It is a processor almost like CPU, but this will only process the graphics. Yes.GPU also has the Number of Cores as CPU for processing the graphics.Today I will talk only about smartphone's GPU components.
GPU smartphone is provided by the Following brand; Check Which GPU your smartphone has, You will definitely get one of the following brand GPU on your smartphone:

                  - Power VR                    - Mali                      - Adreno                  - NVIDIA

Power VR: It is GPU provider company which license their GPU design to the manufacturers of the chipset.Normally Apple, Samsung, etc. This provides good quality of graphics experience to the user. That's, why it is used in smartphones, flagship phone mostly.

Mali: It is a brand which is a part of ARM Company that provide CPU architecture also to the smartphones manufacturers also. This is all very popular in GPU category.

Adreno: Adreno is a part of Qualcomm Snapdragon. You can never get this brand GPU if you don't have Snapdragon processor on your smartphone.Qualcomm never shares its GPU architecture to any other brand.

nVIDIA: It is a company which has introduced 1st Dedicated Graphics Card. This brand GPU's are also good for use as performance and quality perspective.

GPU will lessen the workload of the CPU to handle the graphics.GPU provides extra cores to games for its processing smoothly.
The performance of GPU is normally dependent on Cores, Memory, and Frequency to process graphics.

Detailed Graphics Cards With Specification Will Be There In Upcoming Article :-)

Key Components of GPU:
  • Core in Graphics Processor Unit
  • Frequency of GPU
  • Memory of Graphics Processor.
Core In GPU: In simple and short, suppose 1-2 cores handling all the human bodies in the game,3-4-5 handling cars/vehicles in the games,6-7-8 handle background, trees and 9-10-11-12 control the camera view while rotating angles.
In that ways, as much Cores, a GPU Has The more smooth performance you will get.Core will handle all the section and process itself without the help of CPU.

Frequency: This is a term used for the speed of switching the graphics to process.with the more frequency of GPU the cores can exchange values to each other more fastly. You can understand its importance by assuming the situation when you see your game graphics are moving very slow.So there the frequency need occur.

Memory: A GPU use its own memory; and always tries to run games on its own capabilities, without the help of CPU.So We can say that GPU has its own Memory to handle the heavy size of games; Instead, a Game grabs space from your CPU harddisk and gives a load to CPU while running. So rather than doing that, the GPU will always try to run the games by taking the size bulk on itself for its game processing.

One Important thing:

You can not say that if You buy suppose octa-core 2.5GHz smartphone, that it will provide you good graphics quality also, No that's not correct ways to think.

It is possible that maybe mid-range smartphone perform very nicely as compared to any of your high-end phones in term on graphics while playing games, captuing video, etc.
The performance of games on your smartphone totally depends on the capabilities of your GPU, not on the capabilities of CPU specification.

Example: CPU Comaprision:

Snapdragon 430 CPU                                         V s       Snapdragon 615 CPU

GPU: ARM Cortex A53,Octa Core 1.4GHz                  CPU: ARM Cortex A53,Octa Core 1.7GHz
GPU: Adreno 505GPU                                                   GPU: Adreno 405 GPU

Fail in comparison of CPU, But Pass                             Passed in normal CPU based processing But
in Performing Gaming on smartphones                       fail in gaming performance.

My Next Article will Be On Memory Cards.
Good Bye.....;-)

How To Install CCTV Camera - BEGINNER

How To Install CCTV Camera  CCTV (Closed Circuit Tele-Vision), You Must know What Is It? Q.  CCTV is a Camera Setup used as a Security System, Suppose You have an office But You are doing you another job at any other place but you want to know, Do your staff really work or not when you were not there? Ans1: You will Appoint a person, who can monitor the working of your staff and later then, when you will come back he will tell you about the working of your staff when you were not there. Ans2: Another Solution Is To Use the CCTV system that will record all the working of your staff when you were not there It will record all In Video Format. So What You Have Chosen ! I think You Will defiantly go with CCTV because that will show You Whole Recording without any partiality with anyone that you can’t expect from any of your other Appointed person.  Now I will talk about How to Establish CCTV Connection, And What Are the Components and Types of CCTV Camera :  1 st of all

All types of Pen-Drive Memory - BEGINNER

Pen Drive: It is a flash drive, not a hard drive because it works with the flash memory card not using any mechanical arm that like used in the Hard Disk Drive of computers previously. It is also known as a memory stick, USB Storage, USB Type C(3.0), USB Stick, Thumb Drive, Disk on key, flash memory drive, USB Drive etc like many more names for storing purpose. Usage Of  Pendrive: The pen drive is about to store data into a portable storage drive, which has a USB(Universal Serial Bus) Connector to retrieve data anytime anywhere. Key Components of Pendrive USB Connector Flash Memory Chip Micro Controller Chip USB Connector:  USB Connector used as a universal port and plug for sharing and transferring information. USB Connector in 2.0 Pendrives is an of Black/Dark Grey Color, and in 3.0 pen drive, it is the BLUE color connector to identify easily. Flash Memory Chip: This is a component on basis of which the size of the pen drives very.It is possible of having multip
